Anonymous asked: Mind recommending some k-dramas to a person who has never watched one?

49 Days, Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Answer Me 1997, Athena, Master’s Sun (really depending on how it’ll end, though!). That should be enough to carry you over for the next few months, haha.

Do you know what a mandala is? The Tibetan monks make them out of dyed sand laid out into big, beautiful designs. And when they’re done - after days or weeks of work - they wipe it all away.

Try to look at your experience here as a mandala, Chapman. Work hard to make something as meaningful and beautiful as you can and when you’re done, pack it in and know it was all temporary. You have to remember that. It’s all temporary.

We still do this when we’re moving.

Anonymous asked: Leading of the last question, do you have any favourite womances in TV shows (in both K Drama and Western TV?)

Kalinda/Alicia until they … (spoiler) stopped being friends :(

Choi Kang-hee and Wang Ji-hye in Protect the Boss

Nikita and Alex in Nikita (lol this show)

And I wish I got to see more of Hye-sung and Do-yeon’s friendship in I Hear Your Voice, but that wasn’t really a priority in the show :(

I really loved Jin-sook and Soo-min in Heartless City and wished to see more of their friendship too, but again, their relationship wasn’t really a priority in the whole scheme of things :(

Oh! Another one: I stopped watching halfway through Alice in Cheongdam-dong, but I really did like So Yi-hyun and Moon Geun-young’s characters’ friendship from what I saw of it, though I’m unsure if it ended up being the typical love rival relationship down the road.

It’s this dumb thing that Ross made up cause he was trying to fool our parents. It’s a way of giving the finger, without actually having to give it.”
